Fine. I'll blog just one more time today =D
Was thinking about pretty much everything, family, friends, life and most importantly HOW I HAVEN'T STARTED ON MY REVISION!!!!!! SO SO SO SO SO SO SO so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so..............SCREWED T.T
But on another note, the concept of friends stuck somewhere in my mind. Haha. A friend is a concept open to interpretation. Your friend can be someone that understands you, someone that sticks by you, someone that you can relate to. Or simply, a friend can be someone you met for the first time, but has this uncanny sense that you two have known each other since forever.
Personally, I'm a simple person. To me, a friend is simply someone who sticks by me when I need them, regardless of whether we share the same ideals, whether of whether my weird mind can be understood. Depending on the circumstances, this term can refer to some pretty unexpected people =D My friends are all of different polarities with each other, maybe it just shows how I can make up my mind on what kind of person I am. ^^
But, I'd prefer to think of it like music. There are a million genres out there, metal appeals to some, pop appeals to some, country appeals to the others. Just because you like a song from this genre, doesn't mean that another genre of songs are lousy. Was just browsing through my itunes library, to look at my list of 'most played songs'.

Well, the genres say it all. I really have no preference of one genre over another, just that maybe one might be better than another in different situations. (Metal for my evening jogs, really fast songs for maths, Easier songs for Doing homework with lots of writing...) Basically, I find the concept of friends to be pretty much the same thing. They come in all shapes and sizes, in both genders, with all kinds of attitudes and personailities. In order to befriend all of them, you must first be able to accept all of them for what they are. Instead of bending them to your will, simply help them become better. Instead of trying to conform them into what you deem 'right', try to conform yourself to their values for a change, experience life from all its different points and perspectives.
Thats one reason why friends are present. To enable you to glimpse more than one angle of life. To help you when your down. To share experiences with you. These are all purposes of having friends. A friend is not someone you simply meet everyday, or someone whos exactly like you, or someone that goes out with you or.......
A friend is a partner. True, not a life partner, but a partner for life nevertheless. Your problems may not be your friends problems and your friend sometimes may only give advice, unlike a life partner. But ultimately, they are on your side, to help you, to give you the strength needed to overcome obstacles.
Again, personally, I do not tend to make friends freely. I only do so when I'm sure I can treat their problems as my own, that I can accept them for what they are without discrimination. Otherwise, there just isnt a point to the friendship. In that context, it would be better deemed as an ally rather than a friend.

It's almost ten o'clock now..Still have to finish at least some humanities homework in order to live with myself.
